Final Thoughts

For this project I wanted to explore symbols and the meanings that we attach to them based on their environment. My project starts out slow. It allows the viewer to fully comprehend and contemplate the images. As it progresses, the pace quickens and the animation becomes more dissonant. This forces the viewer to make quicker judgments and form their ideas on an ever increasing visual environment. In this way, I feel that my project comments on contemporary life without being too direct.

great!!!!! I feel like where the light bulbs come is a little too fast. A little jumpy with the martini glass. I think its your best project so far! :)

I like the graphic symbols on the hand drawing style of images. I think the beginning of the video works great especially the part with the smiley faces withe martini glass. However I feel the speed up part at the end is a bit too fast for me slow eyes ;)

It is over.. YAY

I think the red filling the screen is a bit repetitive, but other than that I love the transitions.

The images you use are good, and can be more refined of course to match the sharper edged materials. (Black glasses for example can be giving more touching) -- furthermore, the overall project is a bit too quick. Perhaps that works well to relate it to previous projects, but now there is no much imagery we'd like to pause a little to drink it all in.
